After college, I set up a small film company with my friend. He had already drawn the graphic of the two men running, so it was up to me to put them into some sort of setting and add some typography for a business card.
I had been offered a tiny corner of someone else’s print run with the condition that they would be using just black and a single blue as a spot colour, so that limited my colour choices.
I wanted to use the dynamic of the men running, so I left the bottom half of the card blank, apart from a gentle gradient, indicating the space they were running towards.
I chose Eurostile with a tiny drop shadow for legibility.
